Student Learning
Welcome to our Knowledge Development Assessment Program!

Scuba Training Online is a home-based-study system that was developed to help reduce conventional classroom time, while accommodating varied learning styles and schedules.

We have found that students using this method come in better prepared than those using the traditional method. Students can study wherever, whenever and by whatever means is most convenient or appropriate: text, video, CD-Rom or DVD. Unlike other internet-based scuba training, it does not require the student be online for the entire session.

You can start on the road to becoming a certified diver in 3 easy steps...

Step One: Locate and register with a participating facility, study the academic content of the course using whatever training materials you choose (Textbook, CD-Rom, DVD). Then log in to the participating facility training site to complete the end of chapter questions online.

After answering the chapter questions you will get immediate feedback regarding the correctness of the answers. Plus each response sent includes a helpful elaboration to aid in your understanding of the material. Your instructor will be able to track your progress as you submit your answers and may contact you by e-mail if warranted.

Step Two: Once you complete the academic portion of the training, arrange with the facility your pool training sessions and the required in person pre-exam quiz and final exam before course completion.

Step Three: Then complete your open water certification dives at a location of your choice.

So what are you waiting for? Start by locating and registering with a Scuba Training Online participating facility now!
